Getting Started

Welcome to OSIPI, the Open Science Initiative for Perfusion Imaging.

What is OSIPI?

OSIPI (Open Science Initiative for Perfusion Imaging) is an initiative of the ISMRM Perfusion Study Group, aiming to improve transparency, standardization, and reproducibility in perfusion MRI. OSIPI develops shared resources — lexicons, code libraries, data inventories, challenges, and education materials — through volunteer task forces. See About OSIPI for the mission, history, and how the initiative is organized.

Who is this for?

OSIPI is for:

  • Researchers analyzing perfusion MRI data
  • Developers contributing tools or algorithms
  • Clinicians using MRI in practice
  • Anyone aiming to support reproducibility and interoperability
